MR. LINDSEY G

2004, Dutch Harness Horse Gelding

  • AKA: “Lenny”
  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Lots of freckles, likes to “blip” his lower lip.

  • ACCOLADES: 2018 & 2019 Horse of the Year, 2020 USEF National Pair Champion

Mr. Lindsey G is a talented gelding that joined the team in the summer of 2017. Lindsey in an experienced horse with many years of competitions under his belt for multiple countries. He has represented Australia, South Africa and the USA in International Competition. Steve competed Lindsey at the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships in the Dressage and Marathon. Paired with Durro at the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Lenny earned the 6th place in dressage. His most recent accomplishment is being part of Jacobs 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.

  • ACCOLADES: 2019 Horse of the Year, 2019 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Favory Farao joined Team Hermitage in the summer of 2017. Farao is a very reliable horse, which allows him to go well with any of Steve’s horses, and often competes in Dressage and Cones. When paired with Franky, they are affectionately known as “the Veggies” for their easy-going nature. At the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Steve drove Farao in all three phases to help the team gain 8th place overall. He is currently teaching the next generation of drivers, giving lessons at Hermitage.

  • ACCOLADES: 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 Horse of the Year & 2015, 2017 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Favory Franky has been a member of Team Hermitage since 2013, which is the longest time of Steve’s current competition horses. When paired with Farao, they are affectionately known as “the Veggies” for their easy-going nature. Franky’s specialty is Cones, often coming to competitions to provide a solid partner for the final phase. He was part of Steve’s 2015 and 2017 National Pair Horse Championship team. Franky partnered with Endorro for the Cones phase of the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships. 2019 marks Franky’s 10th year competing at the FEI level.

ENDORRO "DURRO"

Endorro has been part of Steve’s pair since the latter part of 2015. Endorro is the most internationally travelled of Steve’s horses, having competed in the USA, Canada, Holland, Germany, Poland, and Slovenia. Endorro is a very well-rounded horse and often competes all three days of the competition. He loves having visitors and will always say yes to having his picture taken. He was part of Steve’s 2016 and 2017 National Pair Horse Championship team. Endorro also competed in all three phases of the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships. In the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Durro competed in all three phases including a 6th place finish in dressage paired with Lenny. His most recent accomplishment is being part of Jacobs 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.

PLUTO REVANS

Pluto Revans (aka Rev) joined Team Hermitage in 2014. Rev is our Marathon specialist and loves to gallop through hazards. His next favorite activity is cuddling, although he is Steve’s largest and fastest horse, he is the sweetest. He competed in Steve’s 2016 and 2017 National Championship team. In 2019 Jacob competed him alongside Endorro in the Marathon phase of the Pair Horse World Championship.

Tüzes (aka Tux) joined Team Hermitage in the summer of 2017. He is a very sweet horse who enjoys his daily naps- the first one at 9 AM sharp. Tux’s brands are unique from Steve’s other Lipizzan as they are all on his neck, not his back. Tux’s first competition with Team Hermitage was a win at the 2018 Kentucky Classic with Avery at the reins. In 2019 Steve drove Tux in all three phases at the Pair Horse World Championship. His most recent accomplishment is being part of Jacobs 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.

KIAN

2015 KWPN (Dutch Harness Horse) Gelding

Kian joined Team Hermitage in June 2020 from Holland. Jacob is excited to have a young prospect to join his other KWPNs. His forward thinking, and movement, will compliment Lenny and bring fun possibilities.

KENJI V.

2015 KWPN (Dutch Harness Horse) Gelding

Kenji joined Team Hermitage in June 2020 from Holland. Jacob is excited to have a young prospect to join his other KWPNs. Kenji’s personality is as big as his movement, which Jacob hopes will lead to an exciting future.

MOONLIGHT MILE "LUNA"

2009, Thoroughbred/Percheron Mare

Luna moved to Hermitage in 2016 with Head groom Mary. Although Luna is grey like the rest of Steve’s horses she does not drive, yet. Luna competes in three-day Eventing which is the riding sport combined driving is derived from. Luna’s loving nature and braveness under saddle makes her an excellent role model for younger horses. She is the only mare in the barn, and it shows with her princess attitude.
