KENJI V.

2015 KWPN (Dutch Harness Horse) Gelding

  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Black with Star and Snip
  • DRIVING SPECIALITY: A 3-phase horse, but favorites are Marathon & Cones
  • ACCOLADES:  2021 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses (12th place finish), 2023 Winner at CAIO 4* Pair Class (including Marathon win) & 2023 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses (14th place finish, with 7th in Dressage)

Kenji joined us in June 2020 from Holland. He quickly became a foundation in the pair, thoroughly enjoying the challenge of both Marathon and Cones. Kenji has competed in all 3-phases with Jacob at several top FEI competitions, including 12th place finish at the 2021 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses, plus a win (including a 1st in Marathon!) at the 2023 CAIO 4* in Baborowko, and then 14th place finish at another Championship in 2023. His personality is bigger than his already impressive show record and he provides daily entertainment in the barn.

KENZO

  • ACCOLADES: 2024 Winner of CAIO 4* Pair class at Baborowko (POL) & 14th place finish (7th in Dressage) at 2024 FEI Pair Horse Driving World Championship in Le Pin au Haras (FRA)

Kenzo joined the pair in competition in 2022 and quickly became a staple in the Dressage phase. As a top-quality horse with superb movement, Kenzo brings an eye-catching elegance to the pair. He was pivotal in Jacob’s top 3 (CAIO4*) and top 7 (World Championship) 2023 Dressage scores in Europe. As of 2024, he is expanding his skills to include the Marathon and Cones phases as well, proving to be a multi-talented star.

ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY

2004 Gypsy Vanner gelding

Locksley, belonging to barn manager Sonia Williams, began his driving career late in life but didn’t let that stop him. In his first season competing, he & Sonia won the 2022 Preliminary Single Horse National Championship by impressively moving up with each phase. Locksley became an FEI horse in 2024 to help Sonia complete her FEI 1* qualifications. He is also a fantastic babysitter to some of the goofy dutch horses in the barn.

KIAN

2015 KWPN (Dutch Harness Horse) Gelding

  • ACCOLADES:  2021 FEI Driving World Championship for Horse Pairs

Kian joined the team in June 2020 from Holland. He was a dressage star with great potential in all 3 phases early in his career. Kian was a big part of Jacob’s 12th place finish at the 2021 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses.

Unfortunately, due to congenital issues that were discovered as he physically matured, Kian was allowed to retire early from competition.

ENDORRO "DURRO"

  • FAMILY: Lenny’s Nephew
  • ACCOLADES: 2016-2019 Horse of the Year & 2016 ,2017, 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Endorro is the most internationally travelled of the group, having competed in the USA, Canada, Holland, Germany, Poland, and Slovenia. Endorro is a very well-rounded horse and often competes all three days of the competition. He loves having visitors and will always say yes to having his picture taken. He was part of the 2016 and 2017 National Pair Horse Championship team. Endorro also competed in all three phases of the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships. In the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Durro competed in all three phases including a 6th place finish in dressage paired with Lenny. His most recent accomplishment was being a part of Jacob’s 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.

MR. LINDSEY G

2004, Dutch Harness Horse Gelding

  • AKA: “Lenny”
  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Lots of freckles, likes to “blip” his lower lip.
  • DRIVING SPECIALITY: Dressage
  • FAMILY: Uncle to Endorro
  • ACCOLADES: 2018 & 2019 Horse of the Year, 2020 USEF National Pair Champion

Mr. Lindsey G is a talented gelding that joined the team in the summer of 2017. Lindsey in an experienced horse with many years of competitions under his belt for multiple countries. He has represented Australia, South Africa and the USA in International Competition. Steve competed Lindsey at the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships in the Dressage and Marathon. Paired with Durro at the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Lenny earned the 6th place in dressage. His most recent accomplishment is being part of Jacobs 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.

FAVORY FRANKY

2002 Lippizan Gelding

  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Most spots ‘fleabites’, Smallest Horse
  • DRIVING SPECIALITY: Cones
  • FAMILY: Same dad as Farao & Tuzes.
  • ACCOLADES: 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 Horse of the Year & 2015, 2017 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Favory Franky has been a member of the team since 2013, which is the longest time of the competition horses. When paired with Farao, they are affectionately known as “the Veggies” for their easy-going nature. Franky’s specialty is Cones, often coming to competitions to provide a solid partner for the final phase. Franky partnered with Endorro for the Cones phase of the 2017 Pair Horse World Driving Championships. 2019 marked Franky’s 10th year competing at the FEI level.

PLUTO REVANS

  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Whitest horse, Wavy Tail, Longest Back, often can be seen playing with stall neighbor Lenny.

  • ACCOLADES: : 2016-2019 Horse of the Year & 2016, 2017, 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Pluto Revans (aka Rev) joined the team in 2014. Rev is our Marathon specialist and loves to gallop through hazards. His next favorite activity is cuddling, although he is the largest and fastest horse, he is the sweetest. He competed in the 2016 and 2017 National Championship team and in 2019, Jacob competed him alongside Endorro in the Marathon phase of the Pair Horse World Championship.

FAVORY FARAO

  • DRIVING SPECIALITY: Cones
  • FAMILY: Same dad as Franky & Tuzes
  • ACCOLADES: 2019 Horse of the Year, 2019 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Favory Farao joined our team in the summer of 2017. Farao is a very reliable horse, which allows him to go well with any of the horses, and often competes in Dressage and Cones. When paired with Franky, they are affectionately known as “the Veggies” for their easy-going nature. At the 2019 Pair Horse World Championships Steve drove Farao in all three phases to help the team gain 8th place overall. He is currently teaching the next generation of drivers.

  • FAMILY: Same dad as Franky & Farao
  • ACCOLADES: 2019 Horse of the Year, 2019 & 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Champion

Tüzes (aka Tux) joined the team in the summer of 2017. He is a very sweet horse who enjoys his daily naps- the first one at 9 AM sharp. Tux’s brands are unique from the other Lipizzans as they are all on his neck, not his back. His most recent accomplishment is being part of Jacob’s 2020 USEF National Pair Horse Championship win.
